Strategic Planning & Development – Life Insurance
(Bangkok)

Responsibilities:

• To provide strategic planning expertise to management across the life insurance business in order to effectively execute key initiatives and examine opportunities for the organization to grow profitably.


• Analyzing new growth opportunities. (i.e. product, distribution, branch expansion)


• Reviewing market trends in product/distribution


• Managing the product development pipeline, process, and portfolio to successfully create customer centric profitable products


• Managing key strategic projects to a successful execution


• Product Development Strategy: Develop a product strategy that is innovative and competitive in the market aligned to customer needs and distribution strengths. Review current portfolio and market trends to determine gaps and opportunities for development.


• Customer Cross-Sell/Product Sequencing Strategy: Analyzing the customer profile and current policies purchased and identify gaps in coverage. Develop product strategies and programs for selling and retention. (i.e. pre-approved product cross-sell, up-sell riders through billing at renewal, etc)


• Group Insurance Review: Analyze the market and infrastructure needs in developing the group business


• Branch Expansion: Assist in the development and execution of expanding branches across Thailand. Specifically, the operational framework, administrative infrastructure, business case development, and subsequent roll-out execution.


• Working with affiliated non-life business to develop opportunities to leverage their bank and sponsor relationships to sell life insurance products. Key areas of focus will be product sequencing opportunities, developing group insurance, developing new products, bundling products, and bancassurance development.

Requirements:

• Thai national


• At least 7 years experience in business development or marketing of life insurance business


• Good command of English


• Computer literate
